It is the peak of summer, and HOT. Not like ohhh it is warm outside. It is so hot that I need to run my AC till 7pm hot. YES. And so visions of the beach, lake, and river some into mind. So what do we reach for? Our fabulous PLUS SIZE SWIMWEAR. Contrary to what the ignorant woman from the Daily Mail said and more like what CeCe Olisa retorted, we can, do, and have rocked our plus size bathing suits and bikinis well. (Inserts a snap in the air)
Finding them, well, this can be a challenge. Rocking them, for some can be downright unnerving. But, did you know, that shopping for a swimsuit is hands down one of the most scariest and difficult things to do.  No lie! Through many a survey, plus size and straight size women alike, finding a bathing suit is just as hard as finding that perfect pair of jeans.
While it is still a bit of a challenge (I am still waiting for boy shorts options) WE ARE NOT ALONE.
